    Circumcision based on Fatwa\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>

    The 86th Fatwa Committee of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs of Malaysia which convened on 21-23 April 2009 discussed the Law of Female Genital Mutilation.<\/p>

    Muzakarah has decided that the practice of circumcision for women is part of the Islamic teachings that must be implemented by Muslims.<\/p>
